Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse 1 (T&RC) for the Electrophysiology Lab on the Day shift. The role encompasses patient assessment, care planning, medication administration and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support treatment outcomes.

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
• Cardiology experience and ACLS required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred with one year of acute care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition and coordinate nursing care with the treatment plan.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans including discharge planning.
• Administer direct care and medications as required by the physician.
• Maintain infection control and safe environment; document teaching in medical record.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to Charge RN/Clinician.
• Participate in unit/hospital quality assurance activities.
