Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled professional to assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures in the cath lab and provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients. The role involves supporting pacemaker/ICD insertions, radiofrequency ablation, and other invasive cardiac procedures with the electrophysiology recording system and monitoring equipment.

Candidates should hold ARRT, RCIS, RCES or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications

• Must possess one of the specified professional certifications (ARRT, RCIS, RCES, CEPS, IBHRE).

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, radiofrequency ablation and related invasive cardiac procedures.
• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients during/after procedures.

Responsibilities

Assists physicians during electrophysiology procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, radiofrequency ablation, and other miscellaneous procedures required by operating the electrophysiology recorder, hemodynamic monitoring computer and/or scrubbing for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Provides patient care to adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. Must possess one (1) of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR PREFERRED:1. Experience in electrophysiology or interventional cardiac cath lab. 2. Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) Certification (Formerly NASPE) or previous electrophysiology experience. 3. Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS Allied Health) 4. Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) 5. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
