Albany Med Health System is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist for the Electrophysiology Lab on a per diem basis in the Albany, NY area. The role involves all phases of peri-procedural care and close collaboration with Interventional Cardiologists during invasive and noninvasive studies.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree, a Cardiovascular Training program, and relevant certifications (RCIS, ABLS, PALS, ACLS).

Competenze

• Associate's Degree required and cardiovascular program completion.
• Graduate from an approved Cardiovascular Training Program; Allied Health background.
• RCIS, ABLS, PALS and ACLS certifications required on hire.

Mansioni

• Actively involved in all phases of the peri-procedural process.
• Manipulates procedural instrumentation under the Interventional Cardiologist.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are ready during invasive procedures.
• Anticipate needs of the Interventional Cardiologist and maintain sterile field.
• Function independently for basic procedures and support complex cases.
