Job summary

Chicago Cardiology Institute is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Electrophysiology team serving Schaumburg and Oak Park communities. The role offers training to develop EP expertise, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no call responsibilities, collaborating closely with cardiology physicians and the CVAUSA network.

Qualifications

Board-certified NP or PA with current Illinois licensure.
Cardiology or electrophysiology experience in an APP or RN role preferred.
New graduates with cardiac background are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Assess and manage patients with electrophysiology and cardiovascular conditions.
Complete new patient consultations and established patient follow-up visits.
Support ongoing care of patients with cardiac arrhythmias and related cardiovascular conditions.
Review diagnostic studies, laboratory results, and clinical information to guide treatment decisions.
Work collaboratively with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other members of the cardiovascular care team.
Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and cardiovascular wellness.
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Expand your electrophysiology knowledge through hands-on experience and physician collaboration.
