Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Engineering Technician D in Salt Lake City to perform testing and debugging of LRU/CCAs in a production setting. You will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor and contribute to delivering tested units for repair or delivery.

The role requires hands-on testing with RF and digital signals, a solid base in analogue/digital circuitry, and proficiency with PC-based applications and test equipment. A DoD clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with required experience or an Associate's degree with relevant experience.
• Experience with RF and digital signals is preferred.
• Ability to obtain US security clearance may be required.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, test and debug is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic testing, both manual and automated, in a production environment.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and fault isolation in a production environment.
• Assist Test Engineering on trends, root causes and corrective actions.
• Operate related test equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
• Participate in process improvement activities in both test and manufacturing.
• Adherence to policies including calibration, ESD, FOD and general housekeeping.
