Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Engineering Technician B in Salt Lake City for the 2nd Shift (9/80 schedule). The role involves performing test and debug operations on LRU and CCA components under supervision, contributing to delivery or repair of products.

You'll work in a lab environment, assist engineers with test procedures, and participate in root cause analysis while handling test equipment and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of experience or an associate degree with 0–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to perform test and debug operations on LRU and CCAs in a lab environment.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.
• Able to lift up to 32 lbs and work in a manufacturing lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineer to develop and maintain test procedures
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis on failures
• Assist in component level debug on the product in test labs
• Provide input to develop and maintain Test Bill-of-Process and Work Instructions
• Participation in reoccurring engineering related Test Readiness Reviews
• Assist in maintaining Government/Customer Furnished Equipment
• Help manage tools and test equipment to support the production floor
• Assist with Test Machine Maintenance and repair
• Participate in Failure trend analysis
• Assist in Out-of-Tolerance reporting for test equipment
• Working daily in a lab environment
• Able to lift up to 32 lbs
• Overtime may be required to meet deadlines
