Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Electronics Test Technician in Mississippi to execute test procedures on electronic components and assemblies. You will document results, diagnose failures, and perform rework per procedures while supporting calibration and maintenance of test equipment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in electronics testing, strong schematic interpretation skills, and relevant certifications, with a focus on safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required job-related certifications
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
• Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and function generators
• Hands-on experience with Hipot testing, insulation resistance testing, and electrical safety validation preferred

Responsibilities

• Execute defined test procedures on electronic components using specialized test equipment
• Document test results including pass/fail status, measurements, and observations
• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot failures down to component level using schematics
• Perform rework and repair on failed units per procedures and quality standards
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify root causes and corrective actions
• Assist in calibration and maintenance of test equipment to ensure accuracy
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes and procedures
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
