Job summary

KeyTronic in Corinth, MS is seeking an electronics technician to troubleshoot, repair, and document failures on test systems supporting production. Under supervision, you will assist engineers with product and test system evaluation and analysis.

Responsibilities include tracing failures, soldering repairs, reading PCB schematics, and maintaining records. The company emphasizes growth through training, a collaborative environment, and competitive benefits in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in electronics or equivalent work experience; soldering ability and reading schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Trace failures on ICT/FVT test and repair using IPC 610 workmanship standards.
• Remove, replace, and relocate components that have been assembled wrong or defective.
• Disassemble, assemble, wire and solder to repairs damaged circuits.
• Perform operations as required on previously assembled units to meet specifications including but not limited to use a multimeter and oscilloscope.
• Check unit visually or with electrical testing equipment to assure quality and be able to read and understand PCB schematics.
• Perform necessary corrective action and maintain records.
• Promote teamwork and cooperative effort and help train other employees.
