Job summary

Salcomp Manufacturing USA Corp. is seeking a Test Technician to support testing and validation of electronic products and systems, ensuring functionality, reliability and quality compliance in a fast-paced production environment.

You will perform functional, environmental, and stress testing, calibrate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and document results. Proficiency with LabVIEW and Python is valued, along with IPC‑610/J‑STD‑001 compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Test Technician in electronics manufacturing or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools or scripting languages such as LabVIEW, Python, or TestStand.
• Understanding of quality standards including IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD‑001, and ESD handling procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for reporting test results and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, environmental, and stress testing on electronics components and assemblies.
• Set up and calibrate test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Conduct testing per SOPs, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues with components, connections, or configurations.
• Document test results and resolutions clearly and accurately.
• Help develop and improve test procedures and methodologies.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve testing processes.
• Perform automated testing using LabVIEW, Python, or other scripting tools where applicable.
• Maintain testing equipment and inventory, ensuring proper calibration.
