Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in New Jersey is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to apply electronic theory, test and calibrate digital and analog circuit boards to the component level. You may work with design engineering to resolve technical problems and set up test apparatus, report test results and data.

The ideal candidate has a two-year degree in electronic technology or equivalent, strong digital and analog skills, and can work independently with good communication and organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two-year degree in electronic technology or equivalent work experience; BSEE or BSCET preferred.
• Strong skill set in digital and analog technology.
• Independent worker with good communication and organization skills.
• Two years testing of digital and analog electronics equipment in a production environment helpful.

Responsibilities

• Confirms correct operation of digital and analog electronic circuit boards.
• Performs fault isolation with standard test equipment and AOI; repairs items once fault is isolated.
• Drafts and maintains test procedures and documentation as required.
• Follows approved board-level test procedures and ensures correct equipment operation for a full range of self-manufactured and purchased product.
• Occasional overtime will be required.
