Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Electronics/Engineering Tech.
• 3+ years in a reliability/electronics test lab or similar role.
• Soldering proficiency (through-hole and SMT); IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble test boards, fixtures, and test systems from supplied schematics and plans.
• Perform precision soldering and rework on test boards and components.
• Start, stop, and monitor reliability tests per test plans (HTOL, HTRB, THB, etc.).
• Set up test chambers, power supplies, data loggers, and lab equipment for tests.
• Troubleshoot test systems and fixtures; escalate complex issues.
• Collect, record, and organize test data; flag anomalies.
• Maintain documentation of test setups and maintenance logs.
• Support calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of lab equipment and fixtures.
• Assist engineers with failure analysis activities and sample prep.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab area per EHS standards.
• Train and mentor junior technicians in soldering, builds, and lab safety procedures.
