Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a Staff Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement cost-effective test methods and equipment for all phases of new product development and manufacturing. You will create test programs, fixtures, and specifications, plan labor and equipment, and collaborate with vendors and OSATs to enable smooth transfers to production.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 4–8 years of relevant experience, plus hands-on experience in test development,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
  • Experience with test development, data sheet performance testing, bench test equipment, ATE testers and handlers, hardware and software development, and statistical data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Create test programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and generate specifications and procedures.
  • Plan labor, schedules, and equipment for testing and validation of new products.
  • Collaborate with business units, vendors, and OSATs to transfer new products to production.
  • Research, design, develop, and implement test methods during functional, validation, and qualification phases.
