Intellisense Systems, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to join the Operations Team. You will operate, troubleshoot, and support test systems used to verify the performance of electro/opto/mechanical assemblies in aerospace and defense applications.

Level I or II candidates welcomed; Level II offers independent troubleshooting and guidance. Monday–Friday, 11:00am–7:00pm shift with overtime potential. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, electrical technology, or related field preferred; equivalent military or relevant experience considered.
• 4–6 years in engineering or manufacturing test environment; Level I 2–3 years considered.
• Experience with automated test fixtures, PCB assembly/testing, cable/harness production, ESD control, and optical components handling.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and computer interfacing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of producing technical test/failure-analysis docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform board and system-level programming, functional testing, ATP/EOL testing using fixtures (auto and manual).
• Troubleshoot electronics, electrical, optical, and electromechanical assemblies to component, board, cable, or system level.
• Conduct failure analysis and root-cause troubleshooting; document findings and support nonconformance and corrective actions.
• Set up, operate, and maintain test equipment and fixtures, incl. ESS, thermal cycling, vibration, HALT; coordinate calibration/repair.
• Support NPI, prototype builds, engineering evaluations, qualification testing, and production transition of products.
• Perform optical alignment, fiber-optic inspection/cleaning, and optical performance testing.
• Capture, review, and document test data for ATP and product traveler docs.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality, and manufacturing to improve test procedures and processes.
• Perform product assembly and rework as needed (cable/harness, mechanical assembly).
