Job description

Job Type: Permanent | Full-time | 5 days on-site

Not all electronics testing is the same.

At TUALCOM, the PCB/PCBA sits at the heart of our RF and microwave products. These are sensitive, high-performance assemblies where the quality of the build, soldering and test work really matters.

That means we need someone who already has hands-on experience working with PCB/PCBAs.

If your background includes assembling, testing, inspecting and troubleshooting populated circuit boards within an electronics manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be working on

TUALCOM develops advanced RF, microwave and GNSS technology used across defence, aerospace and other mission-critical applications.

You’ll work hands-on with our electronic products from PCB/PCBA level through to fully integrated systems, including:

  • Testing and troubleshooting PCBs and PCBAs
  • Working with RF, microwave and electronic assemblies
  • Using spectrum analysers, signal generators, oscilloscopes and other electronic test equipment
  • Soldering, component-level assembly and rework
  • Cable harnessing, wiring and mechanical integration
  • Identifying faults and resolving performance issues
  • Configuring hardware and carrying out software updates
  • Recording accurate test, production and quality information
What we're looking for

Essentially, you must have previous hands-on PCB/PCBA experience.

You’ll also ideally bring:

  • Electronics testing and assembly experience within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting populated circuit boards
  • Confident use of electronic test equipment
  • Strong soldering and electronic assembly skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and test instructions
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to fault-finding
  • HSD/GED, apprenticeship or equivalent technical training

An Associate Degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering or similar would be advantageous.

IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 certification would be particularly valuable, although we can support the right person in gaining certification.

Experience with RF/microwave technology, defence products, ERP systems or basic test automation/programming would also be a bonus.

Why TUALCOM?

You’ll join a fast-growing international technology company developing products including advanced RF communications systems and some of world’s smallest anti-jamming GNSS solutions.

With operations across Türkiye, the USA, UK, Germany and Poland, you’ll work alongside specialist engineers and technicians on technology where quality, precision and reliability genuinely matter.

One important point before you apply

To be completely transparent from the outset, this position is based on-site in Sterling, Virginia, five days per week due to the nature of the work and company policy.

If you’ve got genuine PCB/PCBA assembly and test experience and want to work on sophisticated RF and mission-critical electronics, we’d love to hear from you.
