The Test Equipment Engineering & Maintenance Intern will troubleshoot electronics, read schematics, and contribute to improving test-system reliability while collaborating with quality, design, production, and maintenance teams.

We seek an in-progress Electronics Engineering Technology or related degree returning to school full-time after the work session.

Qualifications

• In-progress degree program in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related field; returning to school full-time after internship.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a service-oriented environment.
• Solid understanding of lab test and measurement instrumentation.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuit theory and principles.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronics to component level; read schematics and datasheets.
• Investigate root cause and propose solutions.
• Enter defects and repair data into asset management database.
• Perform mechanical assembly and wiring following drawings and schematics.
• Possibly write test software.
• Configure replacement PCs for existing test systems.
• Implement upgrades or assist in redesigning current test systems.
