Job description

Position: Electronics Technology Instructor, Full-Time

Campus: Vidalia

Position Description: The Electronics Technology Instructor delivers organized, current, and effective instruction that enables students to achieve program competencies as outlined in the curriculum. The role is guided by TCSG program standards and curriculum requirements to support the development of essential technical and occupational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and implementing instructional activities; selecting appropriate materials and teaching methods; and evaluating student progress toward the successful completion of learning objectives.
  • Maintaining a positive and professional learning environment, modeling appropriate workplace behaviors, and promoting student success through effective classroom engagement.
  • Participating in student recruitment and retention efforts and serving as the lead instructor for the Electronics Technology program.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field with 18 hours of related graduate course hours.
  • Minimum of 3 years verifiable in‑field work experience and/or related teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior teaching experience, preferably in a postsecondary or technical education setting.
