This role follows engineering procedures and processes to verify Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) and Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) functionality, performs RF alignment and acceptance testing, measures key RF parameters, generates performance plots, and ensures products meet engineering and customer specifications.This position works closely with Electronics Technicians, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Project Managers, and Customer Service to maintain production schedules, resolve technical issues, and improve product reliability.HPA/HPM products are deployed globally in commercial, industrial, military, and rugged environments where reliability and performance are critical.**What Makes You a Great Fit**The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented electronics technician with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills and the ability to diagnose complex electronic issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A great fit is someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, use sound judgment when instructions or requirements are not fully defined, and take initiative to gather information, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality results.**What You’ll Do*** Perform RF alignment, tuning, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing.* Verify TWT and SSPA functionality and overall RF system performance.* Measure and analyze RF parameters including gain, output power, efficiency, spectral regrowth, harmonics, and frequency response.* Generate RF plots, test reports, and problem reports documenting failures, findings, and corrective actions.* Generate problem reports and document failures, findings, and corrective actions.* Follow engineering procedures, test processes, manufacturing instructions, and quality requirements.* Support Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), environmental chamber testing, and burn-in activities.* Troubleshoot production and customer return (RMA) units and support root cause investigations.* Work safely with high-voltage and high-power amplifier systems while following established safety procedures.* Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Project Management teams to improve product performance and reliability.* Manage multiple test stations and priorities while maintaining production schedules and customer commitments.* Safely lift, transport, and position units throughout the manufacturing process using lift tables, carts, and other material handling equipment.* Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned by management.**What You’ll Need*** Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field, and/or 3–5 years of relevant electronic test and troubleshooting experience.* Hands-on experience with RF, microwave, HPA, HPM, TWT, SSPA, satellite communications, or similar high-power electronic systems.* Proficient in the use of RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, RF power meters, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and related instrumentation.* Ability to perform system-level testing, troubleshooting, repair, and root cause analysis of RF, high-voltage, and high-power electronic hardware.* Strong understanding of RF principles and measurements, including gain, power, frequency response, harmonics, spectral regrowth, amplifier linearity, dB, and dBm.* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, technical documentation, and test procedures.* Experience generating RF test data, plots, and technical documentation, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard computer applications.* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.* Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain quality and schedule commitments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.* Eligibility to work on U.S. export-controlled programs, with experience supporting high-reliability aerospace, defense, communications, or similar products.**Salary Range:**$50,600.00-$67,500.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
