These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.**Job Description**Teledyne LeCroy R&D Team is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 5-10 years’ experience with architecting and designing complex electronic products/subsystems that includes RF & Microwave assemblies, precision analog circuitry, ADCs, DACs, power supplies etc. Understand various tradeoffs and risks involved and pick the best approach to meet the product requirements/specifications. In addition to designing the hardware, the job also includes participating in the entire product development process all the way from designing the product requirements to product launch and mass production of exciting next generation high value-added instruments, using state of the art technology.Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Architecting and design of RF & Microwave assemblies, precision analog and mixed signal circuitry used in Probes and Acquisition systems of the next generations* Create documentation required for product planning and architecting.* Create schematic design and overviewing layout of complex high-frequency PCBs, ceramic and/or organic packages.* Design test fixtures and automated test routines to support testing of prototypes* Work within a team including Marketing, Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing engineers, to bring idea into shippable products.* Help supporting and reviewing changes to products throughout their life in operation.* Responsible for the release of the engineering design package to the production configuration management systemEducation and Experience* BSEE or MSEE degree* Between 5 - 10 years of electronic design experienceJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* The ability to think logically, to learn quickly and the desire to learn new things are among the most important attributes for this position.Must have the following requirements:* Experience in RF and Microwave Circuit Design* Experience with RF specific tools such as Microwave Office, ADS, VSS, Genesys, Sonnet 3D Planar, HFSS & CST* Knowledge of PCB layout for RF & Microwave circuits* Advanced RF/Analog/Digital lab skills.* Experience with standard lab equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes* Excellent communication skills, ability to drive meetings, design reviews, and create content (drawings, slides, graphs) to explain complex systems or data.* Being able to train and mentor new engineers.Preferred:* Knowledge of general electronic design including power supply design, microcontrollers, clocking design and PCBA technology.* Ability to understand circuits in the frequency and time domain* Ability to work within and coordinate activities among a cross-disciplinary team including Mechanical, Software, QA, and Manufacturing Engineers* Design simulation analysis with Orcad, PSpice, Excel, Ansys tools, MATLAB or other software tools.* Python, VB or similar scripting capability for measurement automation and data analysis.* Ability to manage your own project or subsystem from a schedule and risk mitigation point of view, cost and materials perspective* Basic knowledge of digital signal processing theory.**Salary Range:**$141,900.00-$189,200.000**Pay Transparency**The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
