Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related STEM discipline.
• Experience producing sophisticated digital/analog electronics designs to meet stringent performance requirements.
• Experience tutoring students in a higher education environment.

Responsibilities

• Construct and test new equipment to meet stringent specifications from JILA scientists.
• Produce custom-made items using shop tools (drill press, mill, soldering equipment).
• Provide mentoring and instruction to JILA students and shop customers; respond to walk-in inquiries and guidance on electronics design options.
