Job summary

Zipline is seeking an Electronics Engineering Technician to build and repair prototype PCBA, wiring harnesses, and electromechanical hardware for Powertrain systems. You will solder, rework, and assemble in a fast-paced development lab, collaborating with engineers across disciplines to enable rapid iteration.

The role emphasizes precision, quality, and safety, with opportunities to grow toward subject matter expertise in high‑reliability electronic assembly and lab support.

Qualifications

• Experience building, modifying, or repairing electronic assemblies and wiring harnesses.
• Excellent hand soldering skills for SMT and through‑hole electronics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and assembly documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build, modify, troubleshoot, and repair prototype PCBAs for Powertrain development.
• Perform precision SMT and through‑hole soldering and rework.
• Fabricate custom wiring harnesses and assemble electromechanical prototypes.
• Read and interpret schematics, ECOs, and BOMs; ensure high‑reliability workmanship.
