Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation in Buena Park, CA is seeking an Electrical Systems Technician to inspect, install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components, alarm systems, lighting systems, building electrical systems, and sound systems across the park.

You will work with Allen-Bradley PLCs, CCTV, radios, and lighting paperwork, collaborating with Ride Maintenance on rides and show equipment while maintaining safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Associates degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Experience with hand and power tools and maintenance equipment.
• Experience with logic systems including relay and PLCs.
• Experience with drives (AC/DC).
• Able to read/write and communicate in English.
• Able to work safely at heights up to 320 feet.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays; able to pass drug tests and background checks.
• Valid State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including lighting and sound.
• Repair and maintain 2-way radios, CCTV, and recording equipment.
• Support ride maintenance on repairs to rides and show equipment.
• Maintain light plot paperwork and design-related documentation.
• Ensure safety practices and keep records organized and up to date.
• Review lighting notes and coordinate with management on design goals.
• Wipe, clean, and maintain shops and equipment as required.
