Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree, certificate from college, trade school or accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent in a technical field.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to high voltage electricity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment including PLCs, temperature controllers, power supplies, VFDs and test equipment.
• Assist in repairs or adjustments to all machinery in the manufacturing area.
• Perform occasional facility maintenance, service, and repairs (dock doors, plumbing, carpentry).
• Work with electrical/electronic and mechanical theories to diagnose malfunctions and restore operation.
• Install, start up, and shut down equipment following safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Inform management of potential problems and hazards.
• Maintain maintenance records and inventories.
• Perform preventive maintenance using CMMS.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
