Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking an Electronics Technician to join our Maintenance team at the Stuarts Draft, VA plant. You will maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical/electronic systems, gather equipment information for Maximo, and perform preventative maintenance.

You will also create spare parts lists, enter requisitions, and handle other related duties as needed. Overtime and third shift are required for coverage.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent.
• 4-year Apprenticeship or 5 years of industrial electronics maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Lean/continuous improvement mindset.
• Must provide own tools.
• Overtime and call-in availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all plant electrical/electronic systems.
• Gather information on equipment and enter in Maximo.
• Write and perform preventative maintenance procedures.
• Create spare parts list and enter requisitions for spare parts.
• Perform all other related duties as needed.
