McKee Foods Corporation in Stuarts Draft, VA is seeking an Electronics Technician to join our Maintenance team. You will maintain and troubleshoot all plant electrical and electronic systems, gather equipment data in Maximo, and write preventive maintenance procedures.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree in Electronics/Instrumentation or a 4-year apprenticeship or 5 years of industrial electronics maintenance experience, plus strong reading of blueprints and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics/Instrumentation and/or completion of a 4-year Apprenticeship or 5 years of industrial electronics maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all plant electrical/electronic systems.
• Gather information on equipment and enter in Maximo.
• Write and perform preventative maintenance procedures.
• Create spare parts list and enter requisitions for spare parts.
• Perform all other related duties as needed.
