Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance II in Rolling Meadows, IL. The role applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems using schematics, engineering drawings, soldering, and comprehensive testing.

You will interface with engineering, quality, and program management while mentoring junior technicians. Qualified candidates have an electronics associate degree or military training with 3+ years of related experience, strong troubleshooting ability, and

Qualifications

Electronics Associate Degree or Military Training with minimum 3 years related experience; 5 years considered in lieu of degree
Strong knowledge of systems troubleshooting
Ability to perform circuit analysis to a failed component
Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings
Solder repair experience
Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance; clearance not required to start
Must be a US Citizen
Microsoft Office basic skills

Responsibilities

Interface with engineering, quality, program management and customers
Senior technician will train and provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians
Read schematics and engineering drawings for troubleshooting and repair
Perform circuit analyses and use test instruments to verify systems and components
Troubleshoot complex electronic failures and perform system testing and alignments
