Job summary

Schwan's Company in Florence, Kentucky, is hiring for a full-time maintenance electrician on 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM). Starting pay is $35–$39 per hour, with comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, plus 401(k) match and paid time off.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, running conduit, and executing advanced electrician duties. Requires an associate degree or equivalent and 2+ years’ related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; 2+ years related experience preferred.
• Solid state circuitry understanding and 110V/220V/440V/480V systems knowledge.
• Ability to bend and size conduit based on wire conductors; size starters and frequency drives; size fusing and motor wires.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and similar problems and apply corrective action.
• Assist with major repairs or construction required for plant buildings and equipment, primarily electrical.
• Perform preventative electrical repairs on cords and motors; assist with equipment maintenance and parts replacement.
• Run conduit and pull electrical wires to upgrade new and used equipment; replace starters, relays, switches, and fuses in panels; replace disconnects as required.
• Perform advanced electrician duties including checking heater packs on motor starters and troubleshooting single phasing of three-phase systems.

What You Will Do:

What You Will Bring:

• Associatedegree or equivalentwith2+years of related experience.
• Must understand solid state circuitry and 110V, 220V, 440V and480Vsystems.
• Ability to bend and proper size conduit based on wire conductors; ability to size starters and frequency drives; ability to size fusing and motor wires based on motoramperage.
• Ability to use electrical schematics, diagnose problems with programmable controllers onequipment, andoperateelectrical testing equipment and machiningequipment.
• Ability to obtain aforklift licenseandlift90 pounds.
