The State of Indiana, through The Adjutant General's Office, seeks skilled electronic equipment specialists to support military live-fire training facilities. You will install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced electronic systems under varied conditions, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

A high school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience are considered. The role emphasizes operation during day, night, and all-weather conditions with potential supervisory

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of inspecting, analyzing and installing electronic equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of standard theories, methods and tools of electronics.
• Ability to use repair manuals, schematics, and parts catalogs.
• Knowledge of high voltage electronics safety procedures.
• Knowledge of various power regulations throughout the state.
• Ability to diagnose and correct malfunctions in electronics.
• Ability to establish professional contacts with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Ability to maintain and update equipment files.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and inspect electronic/telecommunication equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electronic equipment and perform repairs.
• Research and recommend new electronic equipment.
• Resolve failures when integrating new and existing equipment.
• Ensure systems meet regulatory laws and ACA standards.
• Follow safety standards and procedures.
• Estimate project needs and budget requests.
• Document repairs, calibration, and tests.
• Order equipment and maintain inventory.
