Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Small Arms/Artillery Repairer to maintain electronic systems for weapons and ensure battlefield readiness. You will train and work on a range of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, with a focus on precision and reliability.

Training consists of Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, paid and with opportunities for tuition assistance and retirement benefits for part-time service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical principles relevant to repair work.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with electronic, electrical, and mechanical test equipment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic systems for Small Arms/Artillery to ensure weapons are mission-ready.
• Participate in required Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training as part of Army National Guard.
• Assist in training and development to advance civilian career options in electronics and avionics.
