Employnet Workforce Management seeks an Engineering Technician Contractor to support our engineering team in a fast-paced environment. The role involves hands-on electronics, electromechanical tasks, IT support, and meticulous organization to maintain a safe workspace.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a technical degree or CIS certification, strong soldering skills, familiarity with lab equipment and networking gear, and proficiency in Windows and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in electronics.
• Soldering expertise and precision techniques.
• Familiar with lab equipment, PC hardware, and networking gear.
• Awareness of ESD safety practices in electronics labs.
• Proficient with Windows and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Soldering specialist with precision soldering and rework of fine pitch PCBAs.
• Assembly and fabrication of prototypes and test equipment.
• Shipping and Receiving assistance with documentation.
• Maintain lab inventory and calibration schedules.
• Move and install computer systems, servers, and switches; perform cabling and firmware upgrades.
• Kick off tests and regressions.
