Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leader in Building Intelligence, seeks an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

The role requires travel up to 25%, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. A HS diploma or higher and electronics training are required, with vendor certs in

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems
• Configures hardware and software, tests systems and provides customer support
• Ensures safety plans and proper grounding; communicates with project teams
