Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of electronic security systems for federal, local and commercial customers.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of electronics experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. Certifications in IDS/CCTV are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software, test systems for proper operation.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
• Ensure safety procedures and NEC standards are followed.
