Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems team responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, and support of electronic security solutions. You will work across intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in electronics installation, strong communication, and a proactive safety mindset, with travel up to 25% and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 4+ years electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configures hardware and software, tests systems, and provides technical support to customers.
• Communicates with project teams and customers to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Maintains tool inventory and adheres to project safety plans (JHA, AHA, PFW).
• Executes data gathering, site surveys, and documentation of field conditions.
