Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is hiring an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit.

The role requires on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. Travelling up to 25% and possessing TS/SCI clearance with polygraph ability are part of the job. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED with electronics training, plus 4+ years of relevant installation experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours).
• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems and programs.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configures hardware and software, conducts site surveys, tests systems for proper operation, and provides customer support.
• Communicates effectively with project teams and customers; adheres to safety plans and policies.
• Plans, prioritizes tasks, and documents field conditions to inform project teams.
