Job summary

WEG in Wisconsin is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation failures, read schematics, and support installation and process improvements.

Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Facilities; maintain tools and records in the CMMS; follow lockout/tagout and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and manuals.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools: multimeters, insulation testers, vibration analyzers, PLC interfaces.
• Strong teamwork with Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Facilities.
• Commitment to safety and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot failures across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.
• Repair and maintain motor lines, winding machines, conveyors, and testing systems.
• Record maintenance activities and parts usage in the CMMS.
• Support installations, start-ups, and process improvements.
