Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 1 to support the Security and Electronic Systems unit in Tysons, VA. The role covers on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems including access control, CCTV, and IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

Requires a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
HS diploma or GED is required.
2+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems for multiple programs.
Strong oral, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Conducts on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems.
Performs site surveys, configures hardware/software, tests systems for proper operation, and provides customer support.
Ensures safety plan compliance and adheres to M.C. Dean policies.
Install raceways, cabling, racks, enclosures, panels, and grounding per NEC standards.
Mentor junior team members and document daily work in Infralink or similar tools.
