Job summary

United States Naval Academy seeks a candidate with at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent, focusing on advanced electronic, embedded computing, and control systems in educational or research environments.

You will design, develop, integrate, and maintain such systems, including robotics, sensors, actuators, and instrumentation, while providing support for complex systems like communications, vision, and unmanned vehicles.

Qualifications

Job description

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• 1) Designing, developing, integrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced electronic, embedded computing, and control systems used in an educational and/or research environment;
• 2) Developing custom laboratory equipment, robotics, sensors, actuator systems, and specialized instrumentation;
• 3) Providing support for complex systems such as communications, vision, and unmanned vehicles.
