Job summary

The US Navy's Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command in Guam seeks an electrical engineer with specialized experience at GS-11 level or equivalent. The role emphasizes design leadership and support across facilities programs.

C candidates will provide electrical engineering and design services for administrative to complex industrial facilities, perform analyses, prepare drawings, and coordinate with architects and other engineers on multi-discipline projects in Guam.

Job description

Guam is designated as a medically underserved area. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience in providing electrical engineering and design services for a broad range of facilities, ranging from administrative and housing facilities to very complex industrial and operational facilities; performing design analysis and calculations for electrical projects, preparing final detailed working drawings, cost analysis, requests for proposals, and project specifications; performing quality assurance reviews, and performing technical administration of design, design management, and coordination efforts with other engineers and architects involved in multi-discipline projects.
