Job summary

Fresh Consulting is seeking an Electronics Technician to join our Redmond, WA team for a long-term position. You will assemble, test, debug, and rework compact electro-mechanical systems, employing fine-pitched soldering and precision cabling.

You will manage lab space, equipment, and vendors to deliver prototypes in a fast-paced environment. The role requires Soldering/reflow expertise, strong electrical schematics understanding, and hands-on use of oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other test gear.

Qualifications

• Comfortable selecting, operating, and maintaining benchtop electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assembly, test, debug and rework of compact electro‑mechanical systems including fine‑pitched soldering, small scale paste/reflow; custom cables and adapters; sub‑cm precision.
• Experience using and maintaining electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, spectrum analyzers and standard‑specific compliance testers.
• Develop and maintain build & debug procedures for prototypes.
• Operation and debug of automated component test and data collection systems.
• Engage and manage fabrication vendors to deliver components, PCB/PCBAs, metal/plastic parts for prototypes.
• Manage lab space, equipment, supplies, inventory.

Responsibilities

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range $40/hr - $45/hr.
