Job summary

Fresh Consulting, a design-led software and hardware engineering company in Redmond, WA, is seeking an Electronics Technician to join a fast-paced delivery team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality electro-mechanical systems for consumer electronics projects.

You will assemble, test, debug and rework hardware, use oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies, and collaborate with vendors to prototype parts.

Qualifications

• Soldering/reflow proficiency and experience with ESD practices.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Comfort using and maintaining benchtop electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, debug and rework compact electro-mechanical systems.
• Operate and maintain electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, spectrum analyzers).
• Develop and maintain build and debug procedures for prototypes.
• Operate and debug automated component test and data collection systems.
• Engage and coordinate with fabrication vendors to deliver prototypes.

Title: Electronics Technician
Duration: Long term position
Location: Redmond, WA

Responsibilities

• Assembly, test, debug and rework of compact electro-mechanical systems including fine-pitched soldering, small scale paste/reflow; custom cables and adapters; sub-cm
• Experience usingand maintaining electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, spectrum analyzers and standard-specific compliance testers
• Develop and maintain build & debug procedures for prototypes
• Operation and debug of automated component test and data collection systems
• Engage and manage fabrication vendors to deliver components, PCB/PCBAs, metal/plastic parts for prototypes
• Manage lab space, equipment, supplies, inventory

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range $40/hr - $45/hr.
