About the Position:

This position is located at the White Sands Test Center, Range Operations Dir, Data Support Div, Meteorology BR with a duty location of White Sands Missile Range, Dona Ana, New Mexico. (merit)

Specialized Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes



  • 1) experience operating instrumentation systems such as radar, telemetry, optics, targets, Global Positioning System (GPS), timing, flight safety, meteorology system or general electronic test instrumentation for an organization;

  • 2) experience analyzing operational methods to provide solutions for the improvement of data collection;

  • 3) experience providing recommendations to modify or improve assigned electronic systems or procedures.


Evaluation Basis:

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade position in the federal service (NJ-03/GS-11).
