Naval Air Systems Command at Point Mugu Sea Range seeks an Electronics Technician to support range operations by operating and maintaining surveillance systems and related subsystems.
The ideal candidate will have experience with SOPs and CQC protocols, perform scheduled maintenance, check data feeds, and log equipment status to ensure mission readiness.
Federal experience at the GS-09/10 level or equivalent is required for this role.
You will serve as an Electronics Technician in the Ranges/Trgts Ops/Instrmtn & Labs Group, Point Mugu Sea Range Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09/10) or pay band (DT-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of an Electronics Technician. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Operating and maintaining standard commercial/military surveillance systems to support routine range or maritime operations; (2) Performing scheduled periodic and corrective maintenance on surveillance equipment and associated sub-systems; (3) Utilizing established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Certification, Qualifications, and Currency (CQC) protocols; and (4) Checking basic data feeds and logging equipment status reports.
