Job summary

SunTech in Morrisville, NC is seeking an Electronics Technician to join a team focused on reliable electronics manufacturing and continuous improvement.

You will troubleshoot PCBs to component level, perform calibrations, and support lean initiatives such as 6S and Kaizen events, while maintaining equipment and documentation. The role requires soldering experience, IPC knowledge a plus, and 3+ years of PCB testing in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Soldering experience required; IPC standards knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PCBs to component level and document results clearly.
• Maintain test equipment and perform calibrations; complete calibration forms.
• Identify and implement safety, quality, and process improvements; participate in Kaizen events.
• Provide manufacturing support and cross training as needed.

## Electronics TechnicianApply: Morrisville: Full time: Posted Today: JR26\\_001041Belong to a team where taking initiative, being adaptive, and inquisitive are valued.**Primary Responsibilities:*** Troubleshooting/Failure Analysis + Troubleshoot Printed Circuit Boards as needed down to the component level. + Effectively and clearly document and communicate the results of the failure analysis activities.* Calibration/Preventative Maintenance + Maintain test equipment through the preventive maintenance program. + Perform Calibrations and complete calibration forms. + Report, troubleshoot and assist with repair of failures for production equipment.* Continuous Improvement + Update and refine processes, procedures, and forms, practicing lean principles and implementing 6S. + Identify improvement opportunities and lead or participate in Kaizen events.* Safety, Quality, Process Improvements + Identify and make safety, quality, and process improvements.* Training + Stay up to date on training, participate in cross training.* Manufacturing Support + Support inspection activities as needed.* Other duties as assigned.**Physical Requirements:**Ability to lift 40 lbs.**Minimum Qualifications:**Education:* AA, AS degree in Electronics Engineering, technical school, or equivalent work/military experience.Experience:* Soldering experience required; IPC standards knowledge a plus.* 3+ years relevant experience testing and troubleshooting PCBs to the component level.* Requires ability to use electronic test equipment such as Digital Multimeter, Variable DC Power Supply, and Oscilloscope.* Must understand electronic component functionality and interpret and follow electrical schematics.* Medical device manufacturing (or other regulated environment) experience a plus.Company: #SunTech, #LI-EF2
