Job description

- 2+ years of Electronics Technician experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

- Accredited apprenticeship, 2 years of technical college, or an equivalent combination of experience.

The Industrial Electronics Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electronic equipment. This includes troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems, as well as installing and maintaining wiring and controls. The technician must have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic theory, and be able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities:

1. Install and maintain electrical and mechanical systems.
2. Maintain and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
3. Provide technical support to the maintenance department on electrical/electronic issues.
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment such as DC drives, AC drives, and PLC programs.
5. Maintain accurate records of all equipment and components.
6. Assist with training and participate in special projects to improve equipment performance.
7. Develop and initiate plans to enhance electrical equipment performance.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as an Electronics Technician in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Multi-craft experience is preferred.
• Accredited apprenticeship, 2 years of technical college, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of industrial electronics, equipment, machinery, and related components.
• Knowledge of CMMS, PLC, AC/DC systems, and computer skills.
