Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronics Technician for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. This entry-level role will support engineering hardware fabrication, troubleshooting, testing, and basic lab operations.

The technician will fabricate harnesses and electronic/electrical chassis and subassembly panels, work from development drawings, and assemble mechanical racks. The job requires independence, teamwork, and clear communication with the Build Lead.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Cable Harness Fabrication experience required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• Must Have at least 4 years of recent experience with Cable Harness Fabrication.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is for an entry level Technician whose primary assignment will consist of engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing, and basic laboratory operations responsibility. Some climbing on ladders may be required as well as lifting up to 25 pounds, pushing and pulling of electronic equipment on carts, and working on test stations. These responsibilities will include fabrication of harnesses, electronic/electrical chassis and subassembly panels, and mechanical rack fabrication using development engineering drawings. Ability to visualize and build electronic racks with minimal defects. Candidate must be capable of working independently and in a team environment and be able to discuss technical issues with Build Lead.
