Job summary

Astronics Test Systems is seeking an E/M Assembler Specialist to join our Orlando team. You will assemble, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, repair, rework, and inspect TestVue systems and components, following engineering drawings and procedures.

You will also build and test cable assemblies, document inspection results, and support creation and maintenance of assembly/testing documentation while contributing to continuous improvement efforts in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or related degree helpful.
• Experience with systems assembly, testing, and calibration procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic/testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble systems and components following drawings and specifications.
• Calibrate and test systems per documented procedures.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rework to restore functionality.
• Inspect systems and components to ensure quality standards.
• Document inspection results and maintain assembly/testing records.
• Support creation and maintenance of assembly/testing documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement and team meetings.
