Job summary

CAC I International Inc. is seeking an Electronic Test Technician in Orlando, FL, to build, align, and test high-precision electro-optical and mechanical systems for Space/Satellite programs.

You will develop test fixtures and assist engineers with fixture and tool improvements in a cleanroom environment. The role requires hands-on testing of PCBA, fiber/laser optic assemblies, and hardware, with detailed documentation and adherence to test procedures.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience (or equivalent combination with education)
• Testing custom electromechanical, electronic, fiber optic, and laser assemblies
• Working with PCBA testing
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles
• Knowledge of fiber optics and laser operation/safety
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions

Responsibilities

• Test PCBA, fiber/laser optic assemblies, and electrical hardware
• Perform electrical, fiber optic, and laser testing and characterization
• Follow test procedures and maintain detailed documentation
• Document test failures in reporting systems
• Support cleanroom test equipment maintenance
• Assist engineers in improving test procedures
