Job summary

Soap Creek Resources is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead inventory control, purchasing, and supplier relationships across several manufacturing sites. You will supervise a team focused on procurement, materials management, and configuration management to ensure on-time production and optimal stock turns.

The role requires strong negotiation, forecasting, budgeting, and Excel/Access proficiency, with a bias toward continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of directly related experience in contract manufacturing; electronics experience is a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience and strong people management skills.
• Significant experience with inventory control, logistics, MRP, supply chains, contract negotiations, and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and purchasing procedures and determine supply needs.
• Supervise receiving procedures across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Collaborate among staff focused on purchasing, materials management and configuration management.
• Manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations and track quality, price and delivery metrics.
• Provide data/metrics to drive continuous improvement and decision making.
• Interface with Program Managers on planning and forecasting of customer orders.
