Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Milford, CT is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a 6–9 month temporary assignment. The role supports electronics manufacturing, SMT and PCB workflows, with duties spanning warehouse tasks, data entry, and shipping documentation.

Primary hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and pay is $20 per hour. Candidates should have prior shipping/receiving or related experience and be able to work independently while staying organized.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or related experience preferred
• Good computer and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with shipping paperwork, invoices, and packing slips
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Experience in electronics, SMT, PCB, or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Enter incoming parts and materials into the computer system
• Process outgoing shipments
• Prepare and maintain invoices, packing slips, and shipping documentation
• Assist with packing and preparing customer orders for shipment
• Organize incoming and outgoing materials
• Perform light lifting of boxes and packages
• Provide occasional telephone coverage
• Assist with other shipping, receiving, warehouse, and administrative duties as needed
