Position Summary

We are looking for an Electronics Security Maintenance Technician 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. In this role, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

1. Perform on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems, ensuring functionality and reliability.
2. Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support to customers.
3. Follow safety plans and policies, analyze and interpret project drawings, and verify charges and activities within planned durations.
4. Manage tools and equipment, participate in daily ORM meetings, and execute PITCO plans with quality testing.
5. Install system raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and hardware, ensuring proper grounding and adherence to NEC standards.
6. Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment.
7. Communicate effectively with project teams, act as a collaborative team member, and document field conditions with feedback and recommendations.
8. Possess vendor certifications and experience with systems like Lenel, Hanwha, Axis, etc.

Qualifications

Security Clearance/Citizenship: Applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, for access to classified information.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 hours).

Experience:

• At least 4 years of electronics installation and maintenance experience on multiple systems and customer programs.
• Strong communication, teamwork, time management, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems, and experience with Windows and related systems.
• Graduation from an electronics technician or electrical apprenticeship program.
• Focus in electronic security systems for at least 3 years.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools is a plus.
