Job summary

Cascade Systems Technology, LLC, Hillsboro, OR, is seeking an Electronics Rework Technician to ensure the quality and reliability of PCB assemblies through inspection, repair, soldering and rework. The role includes SMT and through-hole rework, microscopic inspection and strict adherence to IPC guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good reading comprehension of assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to learn and follow ISO quality processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic inspection of PCBs and assemblies for workmanship, solder quality and compliance with standards.
• Conduct SMT and through-hole rework using approved soldering techniques.
• Remove and replace electronic components including ICs, resistors and capacitors.
• Perform hand soldering, de-soldering and PCB/circuit board repair as required.
• Use microscopes for inspection to identify defects and verify repairs.
• Prepare rework logs, repair documentation and traceability records.
